    LX or hyperframe?

i have a hyperframe on my mag and the level 10 doesnt seem to keep up. if i shoot slow everything works fine, when i walk it slow it works fine, but as soon as i realy start to get on the trigger it starts chuffing, double feeding and breaking paint. i know i have the short spring in there, but not sure what carrier or the amount of shims. how can i get my level 10 to keep up? i posted this in the levle ten problems thread but nobody answered so im posting in the main forum hoping someone will know how i can fix this. thanks alot.

Is your LX set up correctly? What about your feeder, what are you using?

my LX works fine with my mech frame so im assuming its set up right, iv shot it with 2 diffrent loders, an egg, i thought it was the loader so i bought a hallo, it still is acting up but not as much. i plan on trying to adjust my LX and my hyperframe this sunday again but it would save my alot of playing time if somone could lead me in the right direction. i dont think the problem lies in the frame because when i shoot 8-10 bps it shoots fine, but any faster and the said symptoms start happening. i also, could my ULT have anything to do with it? thanks.

You wouldn't happen to have a powerfeed body, would you? Forcefeed loaders don't work so hot w/ PF - best on a vert. That said, powerfeed can't be beat for speed when using just a revvy.

Try dropping in another shim or two and/or going to a heavier spring (you'll need to turn the velocity up). That still won't solve the chuffing problem.

If you're chuffing, you're outshooting your hopper or there's some reason why the balls aren't loading completely. If you're chopping your level 10 isn't set up perfectly.

        Good luck.

i have a ule body. i was thinking actualy take out all the shims and use the largest carrier i could without leaks and use the short spring. from what i understand on how the levle 10 works that should make the bolt cycle the fastest, not necisarily avoid chops, but thats what the halo is for. if it still is acting up the problen must be in the hyperframe and i will have to play with the settings on that possibly the dwell or fire delay or something of that sort. does this sound like the right plan of action?

You probably need to go into the setup mode of the Hyperframe and adjust the fire delay and or the dwell.
The lvl 10 can definately keep up, I have one Hyperframe with the morlock board in it and this thing screams. So it can keep up for sure.

The manual says: IS 06, FD 1-6 and FN 1-5

I dont know what IS is so I left it at default but I set the FD at 5 and I believe FN at 5 also.

are thise settings for the 20 or the 13 bps board, i have the 20 if that makes a diffrence? i looked in the hyperframe faq thread and i put the settings on the suggested settings and hav not had the chance to play with them. i'v only used the frame twice. thanks, ill take another look at that thread and see what i can do on sunday.
