    Newbie with question about Classics

I just got my first Mag, & am trying to figure out what upgrades I want/can get. I'm an entirely woodsball player & love my Tippys, but I'm just looking for something smaller & more compact. I just got a right feed Classic, & I have a few questions:
    1) The Airgun Store has vert feed (non-ULE) bodies for sale. What kind of feed neck is on these mainbodies? Can you get a clamping feed neck of any kind for it?
    2) Some threads on here have said that vert feeds tend to chop paint more, but all the newer bodies (ULE, etc.) seem to have them. Is vert feed okay w/ a level 7 - even if I don't upgrade to level 10?
    3) Does the AIR valve come in any color except stainless? I can probably just paint it, but it might be easier just to get a new valve.
    4) I've seen some sight rails for Mags, but they're all vertical. Does anyone make an offset sight rail for Mags?
I know that a lot of these questions could be answered by just upgrading to a Tac One body, but A) they're expensive, and B) I want to use twist lock barrels. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Forget the twist lock barrels. The bsolute best deal AGD has is the Tac One! YOu cannot go wrong with this baby. Forget the Classic and the Tippys, get the Tac!!!

      1) the old vert feed bodies require a center feed twistlock barrel which are very hard to find(try ebay). Plus I think the feedneck on those are permanently attached.

2)The level 7 does fine if you have good paint. The best upgrade is the lvl 10 though, i got one on my classic and haven't chopped since. Plenty of friendly people here to help you with tuning questions too :)

3)AIR Valve only comes in stainless. The new XValve comes in different colors. DON'T paint the AIR Valve, you might clog something and painting it might void the repair warranty.

      4) some places make offset sight rails. Try ebay or google it.

        1) I have a vert twist lock body, somone cut the top off the feedneck (with an inch still attacked to the body, and installed a lapco clamping feedneck that was attached with set screws. The stock feedneck is welded to the body.

        2) It is said that if you dont have a forcefed hopper that a powerfeed is your best option, but if you have a forcefed hopper then the vert feed is better. I dont rember the reasoning right now though..

        3) Jasonl619 said this best.

        4) Since you have a classic mag, you dont need offset sight rails. The sides of the rail (the aluminum peice between the body and trigger frame), is a 3/8" dovetail mount so you can mount anything on it that you can a sight rail.

if there is no leak when you hold the trigger than yer on/off is working correctly and is separating the front and back half of the gun. when it leaks down the barrel when you let off the trigger, if my mind is working properly, then you should be looking to replace yer power tube o-ring.

the powertube is the front part of the valve that the bolt slides over
