You have to get a HP tank. Mags operate at around 500psi. Most LP tanks are around 450psi. You would have some pretty bad shootdown.

With what you have, you'd only need a 47 or 68/3000 tank. Would be good for about 450 and 650 shots respectively. But if you're planing to upgrade, or you shoot more than 1000 paintballs in a day, you'll want a 4500psi tank.

Don't get another reg. The tank has one (brings the pressure down from 3000psi or 4500psi, to 850psi) and the mag has one (brings 850 down to around 500). Another reg would be redundant.

Drop forwars are whatever you feel comfortable with. How do you screw in your CO2 tank? You can get screw in compressed air tanks that will scree in the same way.

I'd recommend PMI Pure Energy or Crossfire preset tanks. Remember, its got to be HP!

Thanks for the Info. I have the stock minimag so the vertical adapter is my input mechanism. I think this would be a little clunky with a 65/4500 tank hanging from the front.

So I need a gas thru grip and drop foward to make this work.

You could just attach a drop forward or a duck bill asa to the grip and run a hose from there up to the valve if you dont like have a grip or gas through. Its not the prettiest set up but its functional. Personally I like having a gas through grip so the hose isnt in the way of the trigger.

Simple cheap solution that was comfy and worked great for me(i did it with my Old mag and it looked half decent).

Small drop forward (recommend a Shocktech Stubby) to a Duck bill ASA (or a cheap ON/OFF) run macroline from ASA all the way up to the valve skipping the VT dapter alltougeter.

Then get something to use as a forgrip. I used a cheap 12gram changer off an old Brass eagel and wraped in in electrical tape LOL.

Heres a pic of my old Mag setup like above - the drop witch i removed befor i sold it aka just befor i took that pic lOL. The drop no resides on my Tippmann Pro/Carbine.

OH AND I FORGOT TO MENTION DONT GET A 47CI 3000PSI TANK ITS TOOO SMALL ONLY GETS ABOUT 400 SHOTS WITH THE LEVEL TEN. Currently i use a 72ci 3000psi PMI steel HPA tank and its ALOT better gets around 700 shots and is not really that mutch longer just fater witch actually makes it kinda more comfy to sholder.

I didn't know it was horrible. So far, my 'Mag and CO2 have gotten along fine and played together nicely.

Get out there and play with your setup. Along the way, you can checkout some of the HPA setups other guys have and make your decisions from there.
