Installing ULE body on Emag.

I am installing a ULE body on my stock EMag. I think I need to remove the spring loaded pin that holds the stock barrel in, but can't figure out how to do so. Any help would be mucho appreciated.

turn rail upsidedown, hit underside of pin with a hammer til it pops out.

I am pounding on this thing pretty hard and it isn't budging, is there anything else I should be doing?
