    Fine Tuning Xvalve

Alright.. i used to have an xvalve with ult, i bought used. It was Extremley walkable/fast. It was amazing. But, that was like last year. Ever since ive never really had a mech mag with an xvalve and ult.

Now, i have a mech mag, and im wondering how i can get it so fast and easy to walk like my old one. Right now the trigger is very stiff, and pretty much impossible to walk.

How was my old valve so fast, and my new one not so fast? The valve i have now is also used, and well broke in i guess you could say. I have as many shims as i can put in it right now. Ive tried less and its the same.

I know about lukes sear mod, but im looking for a lighter pull, not shorter pull. Please help me out.. I want my mech mag going.. and more walkable then ever.

btw.. i have no shims in the level 10. If i add some would it make it easier to walk? I dont know.. i never really played around with my valves. As long as they didnt leak or have any problems i never played around. :)

I take it your new Mag has a ULT? If not, there's your answer!

Shims in level 10 have nothing to do with trigger pull.

Keep adding shims to the ULT until you get the pull the way you like it.

If you have as many shims as possible in the ult, possibley your bottles output pressure is too low and also maybe you are using too small of a carrier for the lvl 10.

I have a preset aluminum 47/3k.. its output is like 850psi i think.

Also my carrier in my level 10 is perfect.. no random chuffs, no leaks. :)

Yeh with the lvl 10 I was thinking more about rof. The only thing I can think of is maybe your bottle isnt actually putting out 850 psi couse with all those shims I would think that it should be very light and reactive. I would test the output pressure.

Good idea.. ill try using my friends adjustable and put it at 850, and see how that goes. :)

Plus, if its only a 47/3k then the tank is going to run dry fast.

I usually do 3man, sometimes 5man.. but im usually good.

Yeah, its not the tank.. i just have to keep playing around with things. I keep my best settings on paper though.

Was this the same tank as on the original 'mag you were talking about?
