    Chuffy McChufferson

I have a Classic mag, and I haven't shot it on HPA since I fixed the On/off. But I was just playing with it around the house today with CO2 and I would be able to shoot about 3 to 4 shots and then it would chuff. I would have to insert my barrel cleaner in the barrel to reset the bolt. Now I wasn't shooting it too fast, I'd say maybe 3 BPS, and I'm thinking it wasn't getting liquid CO2 in it because I have a expansion chamber. I put a few drops of paintball gun oil in the macroline fitting on the valve before I attached the CO2. Is using CO2 my problem or does it sound like something else?

Are you sure your tank is full? Generally, getting liquid CO2 in the gun will cause it to leak down the barrel.

Try running some more oil through it though, if the bolt is sticking it could be due to an incorrect powertube spacer or simply because the gun hasn't been used in a while and needs to be lubed.
    My feedback

Made in USA - it matters.

I'm sure the CO2 was full because I had it filled earlier that day. I'll try to shoot it with HPA tomarrow and see if that fixes it.

Are you using a level 10 bolt? I had this problem with the bolt not resetting and all I did was try a different spring and I haven't had this problem since.

              threw-past tense of "throw"
Thru-(not in dictionary, but its paintball terminology)
Through-In one side and out the opposite or another side of

but maybe cleaning out your bolt, checkng all the lines, a total rebuild might help (do lvl 7's have carriers with it?, if they do check those)

Check your bolt spring. If it is worn or weak, it will cause bolt stick and shootdown on a level 7 valve.

Bolt springs are consumable items on a mag and should be replaced on a regular basis as they do wear out.
Except for the Automag in front, its usually the man behind the equipment that counts.
