Well I can't tell you which marker to go with however if your going to make the cocker I would pass on the half blocking. The ones I have seen look a little off to me at least and the primary reason for having it is if your going the eblade route and just looking for a slight bit less recipricating mass.
Also have you every timed a cocker because it is not hard to do but if you are starting from a non-working marker and have never done it before you might have some small issues until you figure it out. If you have not found it yet here is a wonderful site about cockers.
Thats all I got to say about that other than what kind of mag??? -
I have owned both and if it were me I would probably just blow it on the mag. I loved my autococker when I had it but it seemed to need alot more attention than my automag. They both shoot great and they both look cool. If you want a low maintenance gun thats easy to fix stay with your mag and upgrade it. If you want a high mantenance gun that is alot more complex but a little better on air, get the autococker. One thing I also liked about my autococker was that I never experienced any shootdown no matter how fast I pulled the trigger.
Maybe you should get both and just gradually upgrade each so you can have both ends.
