I am not sure but I think all you have to do is swap out the bodies.

If you change rails you may have to change sears. What style rail do you have now? AM/MM or RT/Emag? If you change styles you will have to change sears.

Note: I looked at the rail you want and yes you would have to change sears. You most likely have the classic sear now and would have to switch to the rt sear and pin.

Why not just see what the Tac One body looks like on you Classic rail? You dont have to answer (just an idea). Then you dont have to change anything other than the bodies.

            Just change the body.
All first gen Tac-Ones' used the stock am/mm rail, so you don't need to spend on unrequired parts.
Here's a pic of my wife's and mine first gen loaner with an extended stock rail.

If you want to use the Tac rail you will need a rt pro sear and RT/Emag sear axle pin.

so all i would need to get (other than the body/rail) is the rt sears and pin? true or false?

and i have my reasons for wanting the tac rail.... is my above questions correct or not?

                  ok. thanks.

but i may have jumped the gun saying i had to have the tac rail. truely i only need a rail with the three holes drilled and tapped so i can mount a shroud. im looking to mount this shroud and any rail that will let me will work. but i know that i need the tac one main body. are there any other suggestions as far as rail go (cheaper is better :)) that i should get?
