    How old is this?

Alright got a question for the old school mag shooter's I was wondering how old my mag is. On the Valve its etched 68 Automag A.I.R. valve. There was never anystars inscribed in it. Still have the power tube spring for it. It has a yellow nonpower feed it looks like the powercoating on it is orginal from factory. and a stock 2in barrel Was looking through my file cabinet and came across my packing invoice when I purchased it off ebay on this day (Happy b-day mag) in 98 so I know its at least 8 years old.

    Any help would be apprecetated.

If you posted the serial number someone would be able to judge fairly accurately.

My guess would be '92 or '93.

I was going by the description of the valve. I cant help you with the power feed or anything.
I bought my first mag in '92/'93 and your description (of the valve) sounds just like the one I had.
You should be able to do any upgrade that you could do to a Classic valve. Or trade it in and get $100.00 off of a new Xvalve.

Before trading it in, I would check to see if it has collector value. It is obviously old school, and probably rare. I am hardly an old school mag guy though, I think I bought my classic 2K1 or 2K2, so I could very well be wrong about collector value. I would just check first, better safe than sorry I guess. If you traded it in for $100 off an Xvalve and found out it was worth $150 to some guy on ebay, you waould be kickin yourself in the a--teeth .

I'm actually thinking of keeping the entire marker, and just building a new one, it it has some values with me

Probably a good idea. I have regrets about sending in my old '92 valve.

It is 1993 vintage. It is within the same serial number range as mine which was bought new in spring of 1993.
Except for the Automag in front, its usually the man behind the equipment that counts.
