ULE body detent question

i recently recieved a ULE body in a trade but the o-ring on the detent doesnt go down in the hole. it is still visible when the detent is screwed in. i was just wondering if this is normal or if the body was shipped with the wrong sized o-ring on the detent. thanks in advance.

Thats normal. The O ring keeps the detent from going too far into the body.
