dye trigger question

i know that this is a stupid question, but i really can't figure it out. i just boutght a new trigger frame from dye, and a trigger. the problem is that i don't know how to mount the trigger onto the new frame. do i just take the old pin out of the old trigger frame, if this is the case, how do i do this. thanks for any help

use something thin and stick it againt the pin....then hammer it out gently. but i'm not sure what side to hammer on.....

OK...here is what you should do. Knock out the old pin from left to right with a 1/8 pin punch. Use a vise grips to hold the old trigger pin and wiggle it into the new trigger and frame BEFORE you try to assemble them. You are trying to make the holes a little bigger. The plating and stuff actually makes the hole a little small. The pin will go in much easier now. Dont forget to tape off the new frame around the hole so you don't scratch it when you slip with the hammer. Hope this helps..
