how to wire HES to morlock board?

how do i wire my HES to my morlock board, some body please help me

There are 3 HES wire. A +5, a ground, a Sig wire. I am not sure which one is which, there changed the colors of the wires at various times.

the Sig and ground go to the + and - of the trigger on the Morlock board.

You need to get a +5v to power the HES. You will get that by splitting the power wire for the eyes. It is +5v, so if you are running eyes you will simply have to split the +5 from the DETECTOR and run a lead to the HES as that other wire.


You will just have to figure out which of the 3 HES wires is what.


Also, the emag uses the grip frame as a ground. You may have to ground the - power lead of the morlock somewhere. I believe you can use the board mounting screw as the ground.

yup, thanks ive got most of it figured out, i dont have a charger for my battery, so im going to try cramming in 2 9v and see if that works
im not running eyes yet, but i will as soon as i can get my body drilled for them
could i just use the power wire from the eyes for now or would i have to have them enabled? or disabled and still have power to them?

i have a red black and yellow wires for my hes, i tried just about every combination, but it still wont work, idk y, i need help, asap

You may have fried your HES.

I am not sure of the wires off the top of my head, you could ask Tunaman if he could tell you which is what. The +5v of the HES should go to the +5v of the Morlock DETECTOR eye. (That will be the dark one) You will have to check the Morlock instructions for the wire colors.(On my Predator Morlock it is the white wire) The other two hes wires go to the trigger wires on the morlock.

When you power it up, does the board work? Does the LED come on?

These things can be a real PINTA which is why TAG is supposed to comeout with the Emag specific board (Sometime before we all die I hope)

Also make sure you are plugging the connector into the board correctly. It is very easy to put that on reversed.
