    Classic RT Intelliframe mod

I am soon acquiring a classic RT, and an intelliframe. I wanna put the intelliframe on the rt, but I still want to be able to use it on my Classic. I know its possible to drill the intelliframe to accomodate the field strip banjo thing., but that'd make the frame wobbly on a Classic. Is there some sort of bushing I could use? Anyone try this before? Thanks.

Nothong you can do really, but try putting rubber in there or something, and if taht doesn't help i dunno what to tell you. Oh, and i'm sure you'll love the intelliframe on your revy.
Il n'y a point de sots si incommodes que ceux qui ont de l'esprit.

I've been thinking and thats what I came up with as well, its mostly for the field-strip screw not to wobble around. I have a ricochet ak, which I'm thinking of intellifeeding to try to keep up. Think it'll work?

        Use an old powertube spacer.

Take a dremel and slot it, so it forms almost a c shape. Not too much of a slice, just enough for it to be able to compress.

Press that into the hole for the field strip screw (provided that you open it up to work with the classic RT). You can then use it on your classic mag. Just take it out when you switch it to the RT.

AGD also had a bushing that they included in the Classic RT upgrade set. Give them a call and ask about it they might have some left.

Dayspring - That might just work, thanks a lot.

BigEvil - I was thinking about the upgrade, but I cant afford it atm, I'll definitely give them a call though.

            Thanks guys, much appreciated.

FYI - I think they just sell the bushing. Its pretty cheap. Tunaman might even have them.
