    mag not working at all

I'm pretty new to the mag world and I just got two used mag valve that don't work.. air pours out the barrel .. i am using co2 ... ive tried shims and they don't work and my level ten either.... the smaller carriers on the level 10 won't air up the gun and the bigger ones just pour air through the barrel ... if anyone know i would be greatful for some advice.. thanks

Don't put shims in to stop a level 10 leak. Take all the shims out.

Test fit the carrier and oring onto the bolt stem. When you find a carrier that fits snugly but not tight, assemble the powertube parts. Start by using the shortest bolt spring. If the gun airs up and leaks, then you need to go to the next tighter carrier. If the gun doesn't leak, but doesn't fire, turn up the velocity setting until it fires. Note the velocity at which it first starts to fire. The gun should start to fire with the shortest bolt spring at a fairly low setting. If this is so, then you should be able to change to a longer bolt spring for softer operation. When you put the new longer bolt spring into the mag, you will probably have to increase the velocity setting again. Chrono your gun and check for leaks.
Except for the Automag in front, its usually the man behind the equipment that counts.
