AO: We are back from the dead... again! After an 18 day outage, we are finally alive and well. Who knew how complicated updating software/databases from 2008 would be. I still have alot of tweaks to make, but my main goal was getting everything patched and updated to 2026.
Vbulletin 6 has changed alot since 2008 so we will have a ton of new features to dig into.
because if its not there, theres chance it will limit the sear from returning completely to its 'start' position, therefore wearing out your bolt/sear faster, and causing shoot down because the sear wasnt allowed to return completely to its start position, and therefore not allowing the on/off pin opening all the way.
...Plus, if the trigger rod is unscrewed too far out (i.e. touching the trigger) the the sear pushes the on/off pin too far up into the on/off assembly.
...as well as it insures that your on/off valve opens all the way, allowing the chamber to get a full fast fill.
1/16" is a guideline. A spec because a spec is good. If you absolutely positively feel that adjusting that rod will make you a superman on the field and capable of single handedly defeating the hordes than go ahead. (adjusting this rod won't make a lick of difference toward improving your game)
Just make sure that you can see light between the rod and the trigger.
I am not talking about adjusting the trigger rod at all.
What I have done is made the trigger itself adjustable both front and rear and I wanted to know if there were going to be any detrimental effects from this.
Jesus Saves....and it don't cost you a dime! Accept Him and you will be saved.
if you move your trigger back to far, so that it is applying pressure on the rod, it is just like unscrewing the trigger rod so that it touches the trigger....
