    AGD Gone??????

Has anyone else heard anything about AGD closing its doors?

I heard this weekend that it may come as soon as Tuesday.

Has anyone else heard anything like this?

People have been saying that for years.

LOL Well the news didnt come from a noob that has never shoot an AGD marker. Actually the peson (I would bet) has been around paintball alot long then you have been.

All I did was ask a question. If you want to be a smartass that is fine but it was a simple question.

I just purchased an E TacOne and I love it but I do have a right to be worried about whether I will be able to get parts for it if it breaks.

In the event that your e tac one breaks, which is very unlikely, it could most likely be repaired simply by replacing an oring which can be found at a hardware store...
Just buy a parts kit now and you should be good for quite a while.

About every other week someone comes on here saying that they heard AGD was going to close. It hasnt happened yet. One thing to think about is that if they couldnt afford to stay open they would have started cutting back on expenses long ago and wouldnt you think that a forum would be one of those things cut?

Well actually being that I own a webhosting company, I wouldnt agree withthat statement. This forum cost them next to nothing to run.

I didnt mean to ruffle any feathers. I am rather new to this part of the forum.

Please dont get me wrong. I hope its not true. I got to play with my E TacOne this week and other then it being a gas hog (compared to the cockers and my Viking that I normally shoot) I love it.

Are there any spare parts I should thing about buying anyway. I play scenarios and typically the vendors that are there dont carry anything AGD?

With a reputation that AGD has, in the likely event that something does happen. I'd think a larger company like BE, WDP, or SP would buy AGD.

Yeah, and then "AGD" products would suck as bad as BE and SP's other products suck.

WDP and SP actually do an ok job, but BE?? I should be getting a mag any day now in the mail, and that's goood, because hopefully the elation of getting a mag would drown out the horrible cries of anguish pouring from my soul if BE bought AGD. I'd even have to buy a parts kit soon, because if BE started making the "AGD" parts kits, well they can make something as simple as an oring suck, lets put it that way.

Can you tell I don't like BE?

Just buy an rt parts kit and a pack of lvl 10 orings and Airgun oil. Then you will be all set.

                            Also...

a few extra bumpers and field strip screw or two can really save the day.
