Ok, so I went out and played today for the first time with my "new" automag (I bought it used). It works for like the first 4 shots and then it turns into a chopping machine. Balls were getting stuck in the barrel so I borrowed some from my friends that were a smaller caliber. Same problem. It became a damn mess. I finally got so pissed I threw it in the back of my truck and grabbed my tippmann pro carbine. I've ran that thing over before and it still works. Anyone have any clue what went wrong? It has the level 7 bolt.
Major Chopping Problem!!

I had this problem two weeks ago. I might as well had a hose on the end to direct the paint. I have recently switched over to compressd air and wondered if this was the problem. Maybe the old reg is tired?? Considered the detent, I have the wire kind, maybe the ball was moving forward when the blast of air hit it?? Also thought the paint was somewhat brittle?? I have the original level 7. Any ideas?Comment

What I meant was the ball would not be held in place untill the air had hit it. These were barrel breaks. In regards to the reg, "tired" meaning time to rebuild because it. Velocity inconsistency. This also being considered with brittle paint.Originally posted by DayspringOf course the ball is going to move past the detent when hit with a blast of air... It just got shot!
And the reg won't get "tired."
And the same question applies- did paint shoot up into the feedneck or just in the barrel?Comment
