    which is better the spring in the old lvl7 bolt or the spacer kit and what is the advantage of either

    The spring works pretty much all of the time unless the spring gets compressed and loses its strength over time.

    The spacer is nice becasue it allows you to fine tune your powertube oring. A shorter spacer will allow you to compensate for a worn sear which a spring won't do. A longer spring will put more compression force ont he oring moving it farther back. This has an effect of reducing friction on the sear tip and making a more crisp trigger pull. The drawback of the spacers, is that you need the correct one for the setup you are running. As parts wear, the tolerances change and you need to change spacers to compensate.

    So, each has their advantages and disavantages.
    Except for the Automag in front, its usually the man behind the equipment that counts.

      I prefer the spacer myself, I have the same one that I installed 5 or 6 years ago.
