    co2 with retro valve?

    hi,

    i know that the retro was made for nitro, but will there be any ill effects if i used a co2 tank on it? thanks!

    You'll be out 250+ dollars.... there's a reason why it says for use with hpa only... co2 will freeze the valve and render it unusable...

      yes! it will ruin it. the recharge rate is so fast you will feed pure liquid co2 into yoru valve causing it to go bad and it not work at all! i hope you didn't do this already. you must have nitro to use the retro valve no questions asked!!!

        As mentioned I pray to god that you didn't attempt to use co2 on this valve please say you didn't.....

            CO2 might cause liquid CO2 to go through your valve. This isn't very good in a stock Mag Valve. It plays havoc with the O-Rings mainly I think. Also, CO2 is much dirtier, and this would gunk up the whole system.
