    68 automag question...

i just bought a 68 automag, i am looking to make sure it's at maximum performance. I also have a cp shorty regulator and was wondering if i could install a vertical asa adapter to put it on.

You dont need to use the CP reg, theres a regulator on the back of your Mag. Just run your tank to it. If you want, you could put a foregrip on, even a gas thru. You might need to drill holes to mount the grip, or just buy a new/used one thats already set.

You still could use the CP as long as you run it high enough that it wont starve the Mags reg.

    I hope all thats helpful(and accurate )

      I agree With TAE.
Unless you have a RT/X Valve the Automag Valve was meant to work on full pressure C02(1800 psi) .
I understand you want proformance but over regulating this gun won't help. Remember you already have a reg on your hpa and marker.
It would just be more to go wrong.
