    AutoResponse Trigger Sticking

    Hey doods,

I just bought an AutoResponse trigger frame from a guy at the field, it works great for the first few shots, then it starts sticking when the trigger is pulled in, i have to manually push it back out. Any thoughts? There doesnt seem to be a ton of info about these triggers, but its kinda cool for what it is.

    Thanks

What kind of valve are you using? I believe that frame was made for the classic valves. An RT valve would make it stick.

Hmm. Maybe its the lvl 10 thats acting up? I would put the lvl 7 bolt back in and see if that changes anything.

Yah I'll try that, one thing that I just noticed, is the thumb screw seems to bottom out in the threads before the valve is tight on the rail, maybe the frame is a 1/16 thinner or so, so maybe a washer is in order.

Autoresponse trigger I bet that frame is older that you. If not darn close to it. Bet it is FUN.

The sear that comes with the autoresponse is made for the lvl7 bolt. Have you tried swapping it with a ReTro sear yet?

I dont think you can switch sears. Make sure your bottle is full and increase your velosity. Sounds like a lvlx issue

You sure can! Had to do so myself to make the autoresponse work with the xvalve.

After unhooking the spring at both ends, the linkage will fold up and out of the frame. Use a punch to gently tap out the tiny rod holding the Pro-Line sear in place. Be sure to put some kind of support under the mechanism, as it seems somewhat fragile. After carefully removing the ReTro sear from it's trigger rod (kind of a hassle), line it up and reinsert the pin.

                    this sear right here:
