2003 Intimidator eye problems

I have a stock 2002 timmy, when I first got it everything worked great then I took it apart for the very first time and pinched the wires running to the eyes. Needless to say I realized my mistake and ordered the necessary parts from Bob Long. When the new eyes arrived I connected them the only way that you can, and checked the connection at the board everything is all good but it still gives me the little * that means eye sensor malfuntion. Any help would be appreciated.

You may have shorted your CPU to ground and fried the pin that detects the eyes. I would take your old eyes check the wires you pinched for continuity. See if they are really cut inside. If not then reconnect an see if the marker works. If not then strip and resolder the wires (you might want to add a bit of length with some other wire). Then reconnect as before.
If none of this works then your logic board is likely the problem.
BE ADVISED THIS IS PURELY SPECTULATIVE FROM A ELECTRONICS STAND POINT I HAVE NEVER WORKED ON OR FOR THAT MATTER SEEN THE INSIDE OF A TIMMY.
