Is a minimag a low pressure or high pressure marker? Whats the difference in low and high?

mags take high input pressure, the integrated regulator takes it down to somewhere around 400 psi.
some "low pressure" guns run around 200 psi. I don't know the lowest it goes.
some "high pressure guns" use unregulated co2, which is around 850-900 psi.
I personally think mags are "medium" pressure guns.Comment

low is kinda like 400 and below ish, high is 400+. theres no numbers set in stone, its just kind of a title. mags are high pressure though.Comment

Low and high pressure markers are kind of a myth. Every marker puts roughly the same pressure behind the ball, it's just a matter of how it gets there.
Speaking of which, anyone happen to have the actual numbers for how much pressure is behind the ball? Tried searching Deep Blue but didn't find anything.Comment

The higher the output pressure the less volume. you need. The lesser the output pressure
the more volume you need. The acceleration is the same. As far as efficiency the gas usage is the same but you can use the lower pressure gun down to the lowest input pressure from the tank. But your recharge rate is slower because since you are running low pressure with mor volume. This is why a RT/X valve has the fastest recharge rate of any marker. Because it recharges at upto 800 psi(20+cycles a second=balls). Thismakes sense as far as chemistry is concerned. As far as gas dynamics I am not sure.
