He's referring to the reg seat. One end is larger in diameter than the other, the larger diameter end goes into the reg half, it should fit tight. You know you got it right if the reg seat doesn't fall out of the reg half after you put it in.

wow never knew that thanks for that advice

the reg seat was in how it is suppose tobe the only problem i can think of is the sear and the on/off assembly or to much pressure going to the gun and the built in reg is putting out to much thus causing the high velocitys?

The valve can handle 3000psi, so I doubt you are putting too much pressure into the gun. As long as the regulator orings are in good shape, the regulator should be able to work properly .

The built in regulator will be able to control the velocity unless there is a leak in the regulator seat oring that allows air to get past it when the regulator pin has the opening closed. Other things that cause erratic velocity in a mag are usually attributed to dirt or damaged orings.

A hiss or leak when the trigger is pulled back and held indicates a bad on-off top oring.

Are you using genuine AGD orings or aftermarket orings? I have had problems with aftermarket orings in the past and haven't used aftermarket mag orings in any of my mags since.
Except for the Automag in front, its usually the man behind the equipment that counts.
