    Biggest leak ever!

Took the mag apart (Mag RTP Xvalve/lvl10, ULT) and found that the spring was broken. Well lucky me my bro just bought a mag with the same upgrades am me so his came with 2 extra springs. I took one out of the lvl 10 package that they provided it is grey in color just like the original one I had in there. Put it together gassed it up and it triggered the sear but when I pulled the trigger the sear just went back into my frame and did nothing. When I let go the sear went back into place but no shot was fired? Why is it doing this? Is it because it is a new spring?

So I took it apart and replaced it with the red spring AGD provided in the level 10. Now there is a HUGE leak down the barrel. Extremely loud, so I am stuck on what the problem is. I oiled the gun up very well and still having problems. Any help would be appreciated.

Okay just put some oil where my quick connect, connects to my xvale (dont know what that metal piece sticking out of my valve is called) and now there is no leak but when I pull the trigger it goese chuff, bam, chuff, bam. Every other shot is a chuff? Any help?

Cut a half loop off the largest spring. Put the cut end of the remaining spring into the body and the other end facing the bolt. Trim the spring a quarter loop at a time untill you get a working length.

This is INCORRECT! Always put the cut end on the bolt...not towards the body.Wizzman can send the bill for a new ULE Body to Shades...

Ya I was going Noooooo not like that. Then got to your post.

Only cut one end. Cut end always to bolt. If both ends are cut its trash.

Just so you know why, the bolt and spring will rotate when you fire and if you have the cut end of the spring to the body it will wrap itself around the spring rest ring in the body.

Then you can ask Tuna what happens.

          Peace Out

I stand corrected. I have the chrome bodies on my markers and never had a problem.
that would tend to dig in to the aluminium bodies. I thought the single point of contact on the bolt would tend to jam it. sorry for the misinfo.

If your buddy did not use it, grab the GOLD colored spring instead. This is the standard factory length.

Although your old spring LOOKED gray, it does not match the extra length of the new spring. The new spring has too much tension, being longer, and is simply holding your bolt back.
