    Sight Rail Musings

I've been looking for an offset adapter for my sight rail and it just occured to me...the tilit of the rails on the Tac-One, why doesn't AGD start making some bolt-on stock sight rails like that? It doesn't have to be the 1 inch weaver mount, they could stick with the 3/8ths dovetail, the Weaver rail requires more expensive optics anyway. I think It'd be a selling point for CF ULE's, and offer an option for those who aren't thrilled about the Tac-One (It's an excellent concept, flawless execution, but just not for me). I suppose that there might be an issue of of not putting to much weight on the rail, but the kind of sights you can get for a 3/8ths don't weigh anything. It'd allow a laser mount point for CF E-Mags, and it'd look cool to boot.

...But I guess it'd would also be moving in on the Tac-One's gig, and they can make more money off a Tac-One than a $50 sight rail. I guess I'll just have to make my own out of plastic, superglue, and hose clamps!

I agree its a drag they got two different types of sight rail, and no offset variety. The majority of mags are vert feed, so it seems logical to make at least one variety of stock offset sight rail.
