I am very new to the automag world...my brother-in-law just gave em a 68 classic....needs some work, maybe major or minor...not sure..could someone please give me a little advice on this type of marker...i am use to tippman sl-68II and have a spyder java edition..but other that that i am a old school player..my pump is my marker of choice out in the field...please someone give me a shout....really need some advise...thanks.....dave

Not sure how to explain...never owned a automag....leaks out the back block..for bout 25 rounds..then stops...not sure that i have the means to repair it...but would love to have it fixed to ues it...what cheat upgrades do you recomend??not more than 50?i know a oring kit..maybe a rebuild kit as well..if its not the same....and maybe a new bolt...but im not really in the money..so i need cheap cheap stuff...lol...hit me back with a response..please...........thanks..........daveOriginally posted by shadesWhat exactly IS the problem. air leak, rapid fire, demonic posession, time warping?

Leaking out the back is usually an indication of overpressure. First thing to do is clean the entire valve to remove any dirt particles that may be affecting the orings. Then inspect and replace any damaged orings. Do specifically replace the regulator seat oring.
The first upgrade you need is an electric hopper. The 2nd one is compressed air. 3rd would be a level 10 bolt. Other than that it is all a matter of preference and bling.
Don't fall for all the hype about aftermarket parts and gizmos that promise faster recharge rates and consistency. The mag valve is the fastest in its class.Except for the Automag in front, its usually the man behind the equipment that counts.Comment
