    Flatline Regulator Question

I recently picked up a 3000 psi Flatline regulator. While adjusting the pressure higher, the regulator begins to leak from the adjusting nut at about 825 psi (estimate). I thought that they were adjustable up to 1200 psi.

Can any of you offer any information. If so it will be greatly appreciated!

    Thanks!

You have a good regualtor. But what kind of tank do you have on it. if it is the original tank has it been hydrotested in the past three years? The reason I am asking is I saw a ADG tech remove a tank from a faulty flatline reg and it was FULL of rust from the tank.

It is a carbon fiber tank and it was hydro'd 11/04 so it is current.

I was thinking that the regulator may need to be disassembled, cleaned and lubed.

I just want to be sure that I can adjust the pressure that high.

      Thanks for the post.

Well thats a good question. I know the 4500 will go to 1200 but Im not sure on the 3000.

Either way you should service it. Could just be the reg seat.

          Peace Out

I think you should clean it and put new Orings in and so on. Its maybe just stuck somewhere.

I have a 68/4500 Flatline and never had trouble with beside the wrong fill nippel inserts.

The 3k Flatline will go to 1200.

The Flatline regulators work almost exactly like the X-Valves. I'd buy a parts kit and rebuild your regulator. Make sure you remember where all of the parts go!
