    Mad SFL paint breakage...

Today I was playing outside with my shiny shiny SFL. It was fairly cold too, snow on the ground, I'm not sure exactly was the temp was but it was quite chilly.
Anyway, I gassed up the SFL, loaded my hopper, and started shooting. One ball after another broke, it was a horrible horrible mess. I was using a rather largle bore sized barrel too, I'm not quite sure what size, but large enough that I can blow paint through it. The paint I was using was fairly fresh too, I was actually the only one on the field breaking paint, and one of my friends had an RT and was using the same paint as I was.
Was all this breaking due to the cold weather? Because I was playing at an indoor field on Friday and I hadn't broken a single ball. Strange. Can anyone help?

did you lower down yoru velocity any? and did you clean after a break? also... i would have said it was the paint but your friend used the same paint. maybe he had a foamie bolt?

well the coldness didn't help out at all. tonight try to lower down the velocity a little bit, and go in the back yard and try to shoot a couple of paintballs and tell us all what happens.

I was shooting at around 250. My friend had a regular stainless steel bolt (foamieless). And yes I did clean up after every break (which was alot of breaks )

There's a post about paint breakage and the SFL that Tom replied to. He mentions that they're modifying the breach modules to correct this problem. It just may be a combination of your barrel and module. I also have an SFL and was shooting in my back yard. I broke a few balls but not terrible. Call AGD and find out what the status is of the new module designs. LOL

Here's the thread where Tom mentions the breach modification:
