Can anyone tell me if a stock On/off from a retro valve will work on an X-valve. If so please let me know asap. I think that all on/off's are the same but I am not 100% sure. Thank you

As mentioned by kopfjaeger, is correct. Using an older retro on-off in a new xvalve requires an additional larger oring to hold the small on-off top oring in place.Except for the Automag in front, its usually the man behind the equipment that counts.Comment

The on-off pins of the retrovalve and the xvalve are the same length.
The Classic RT on-off pins are different lengths, but that valve is also not compatible with any of the other valves that AGD makes. Also, an upgrade from a Classic RT to an X-valve is not possible.Except for the Automag in front, its usually the man behind the equipment that counts.Comment

Not quite right...the Retro/xvalve/classic RT used a .750. Some older RT Pros used a .765. Am/MM-.750. There were some other variations on certain guns.Originally posted by athomasThe on-off pins of the retrovalve and the xvalve are the same length.

Oops! Yes, I switched the numbers for the Old RT Pros and the Classic RT. Thanks for pointing that out. I think I may have told others the same wrong info as well.
Its a good thing we have a good bunch of people here on AO to keep us on track.
