    Level 10 Problems, Please Help

Hi, I just got a level 10 for my RT Pro, I have tried every carrier size, with and without shims, along with the bigger stainless springs, not the red or the smallest one. I am using an RT Pro with a hyper frame and Retro Valve. The problem is that it is leaking like crazy down the barrel, in the fast assembly instructions, it says to turn the velocity up until it shoots, it wont do that, I have the velocity all the way up and continues to leak. Please solve my problem. I rely on you AGD! I would also like to mention that if I use the other carriers, it will either leak, or not. With it leaking or not leaking, it will not shoot whatsoever. If there is anyone out there that has had the same problems and have fixed them, let me know your suggestions. Thanks

    lvl 10

Try the more detailed instructions. http://www.automags.org/resource/lev...shtml#detailed

I believe you need to use the largest carrier that does not leak, and also try the shorter springs. Note that the fast start instructions start with the middle spring.

Also, did it shoot with the level 7 setup? Does it shoot with a mechanical trigger? Some people have suggested that the hyperframes need a ult to work with the RT/retro/Xvalve. I don't have any experience with hyperframes.

Hey, thanks for the concerns guys. I know I have done the set up right, I don't have a level 7 bolt to try it out, but I am using a ans phase II bolt. The sear had to be modified for the electric trigger pull. I just think I'm doing something wrong. I put it in my classic 68 and it shot a few times, but right when I put a barrel in it, it stop. Don't know Y id didnt work, but it was shooting great. Let me know thanks.

Is it leaking down the barrel or out the velocity adjuster? Are you using a full tank. Try to have at least 1000 psi in your tank when testing. Also, when you insert the carrier, make sure the black o-ring is not chipped or cut in ANY way. Lube this o-ring and press it into the valve with a pencil in a twisting motion. It is real easy to cut the black o-ring so you want to give it more twist than push.

Hey guys I cant get it to work. I went from two line carrier to 1 line 1 dot. It leaked with 2 lines. It didnt leak with 1 line, 1 dot. I turned up the velocity and it fired once as I was turning it up, but only once. That's all I have done. Please Help

Go back to the 2 line carrier and shoot even though it is leaking down the barrel. Try to put about 200-300 dryfires through. Then switch to the carrier with 1 line/1 dot. You have to break in the carrier o-ring. This process will wear it down very finely. Make sure you are using the SAME carrier o-ring (The white one) as you switch down carriers. It took me a while to get it right. It just takes a lot of patience. :)

I need a ULT with my RT Pro? I wasn't aware of that. I have the stock ULE in a brand new retro Valve, does it come stock with the ULT? I can't even shoot the gun with it leaking, I use the two line and keep turning up the velocity and I kep pulling the trigger but it still wont shoot. Is the level 7 bolt the same foamie as the level 10. My cousin has a bolt that will shoot anything, it's not a level 10, but it has the same foamie as the level 10, just not as complicated. He just slipped it right in and can shoot ne paint. Is that the way to go or can someone please help me get through this. I have had it with this bolt. I have never seen anything so complicated. Thanks for all the responds.
Is the level 7 bolt have the same foamies as the level 10 bolt? I believe it is that triangle shape foamie right? My cousin has a level 7 I believe, it has the same foamie as the level 10(if that's the level 7) It doesnt show the front of the bolt. My cousin can use the cheapest of paint out there without breaking. Im having so many problems with this bolt so I think I'm going to sell it and get that level 7 from AGD. They are practically the same thing, just the level 7 isnt as complicated. Thanks Hey does AGD still sell the Original Superbolt? That's the one with the huge foamie and the black lining.

I hate to see you give up on the lvlX. If you absolutely HAVE to sell it, I might be interested.
                    From the start:
You have an RT Pro with a Retro valve, Hyperframe, an ANS PhaseII bolt.
The sear was modified to work with the Hyperframe.
It fired well before you added the lvlX?
                    You are using HPA?
You know the carrier with one line and a dot does not leak.

Try the shortest main spring, with the one line and dot carrier, and no shims with everything well lubed. I'd also try an unmodified sear with a mechanical trigger.

                    Good luck. Stay cool. :)
