is there an alternative to the agd charger, i thought i saw a radio shack one someowhere, if there is one, what are the details (so i can buy it)

You can get a radio shack wall adapter for the charger block, but the block itself is required by AGD. -

Theres a smart charger on batteryspace.com that works great for $33. The only thing is you'll need to take the battery out of the housing to charge it since it attaches with alligator clips.
