    Yes and no.

There are in existence nitrogen-filled cartridges used for things like keyboard dusters or small air equipment. Some hand-held airbrushes use them, I believe.

The problem is that they're unregulated. Adding in a regulator is necessary and it takes a huge ammount of volume to fill it. You would end up getting only a few shots per cartridge. Also, because they are not as common, the air-filled cartridges are much, much more expensive. ~$2 apiece, give or take. It's just not worth it.

With a standard minimag, 12-gram CO2s will work fine. Expect no more than 15 shots (though you will top 20 if it's warm weather).

Alternatively, get yourself a 13 cuin HPA tank. It's small, appx. 7" long, and you'll get about 150 shots per fill. Screws right into your ASA (great on a vert.) and fills just like any other HPA tank up to 3000 psi. For retailers, I recommend Wevo Paintball, it's $85 for a 13 cuin tank with a regulator. They never need to be re-hydro tested either, which is a huge plus.

    Good luck.
