    Velocity Problems

I hooked my new nitrogen up to my mag today, I chrono'ed in, & it jumped around alot. It was jumping from 290 to 275 + or - 10fps. I was wondering what I could do w/ it.

If its a classic air valve just replace the reg seat and you should be fine.

I wouldn't say the 8 hole mod is helping the problem. Replace the reg seat. +/- 10 isn't that bad however my classic valve gets around +/- 4

Everytime you unscrew the two halves and look at the reg seat it needs to be replaced because it will never reseal the same way again

This should be in Tech. And so it shall be...

Paintballer86, it IS true. Go look at Rob's post above on reg seats. The regulator pin base makes a circular impression on the reg seat. Everytime the two halves of the valve are seperated and reassembled the impression will not be in the exact same spot as the original impression, causing something similar to an AUDI symbol. This in turn, creates erratic velocities.
