    autoresponce not working right.......

Hi guys, new to the forum!
I had purchased an autoresponce trigger frame last year, came with a new sear-other than the one that was in the frame, so I installed the new sear. Well I tried yesterday to chrono in the mag, aired it up pulled the trigger and pop puffpuff. Needless to say I checked the air in my tank, was full 4200psi. Here is what ison the mag. Prety much stock, all stock 68 classic valve, fresh orings and regreased the spring pack. Degassed it and tried the stock frame. Shot fine.
So, is there any kind of adjustment or shimming that may need to be done, some adjusting some where that I do not know about?
It just kind of chuffs and sputters then leaks out the barrel.
Any input, info or constructive critisism is welcomed!
    thanks,

I dont know too much about those response triggers but I think they required you to adjust the trigger rod out some. As I recall they had a long trigger pull to accomodate the two shots per pull. Good luck with this as I doubt that there are more than a couple of people who own or have owned one these on the forums these days.

well I had a low numbered one 2 hundred sumthing, never adjusted the rod and it worked awesome.
Wow been years I think you put the stock rod in the the new sear right? can you try it on someone elses mag?

I wore mine out, the action over time mushroomed the AR linkage and it would not trip anymore and would even get stuck in the back position, so that the trigger would not go forward and reset.
Mine was also set up with the little Tstop that made the trigger only SA and was a very short pull.
pull it off and look down at the frame from the top you will see the groove for the T

I have one of these and the only problem I've had is when I try to put it on a gun using a power tube spacer kit. I have yet to find a power tube spacer that works with mine, and I tried the entire set from PTP. I haven't tried the AGD set yet, because I had a few old style power tube springs lying around that fixed the problem immediately.

I'm not sure why, but I just don't think they were designed to be used with spacers, or they take a size I haven't found yet.

        Good luck!
