rail bushing & leak

my mag was leaking down the barrel. and after checking the orings and everything looked good i was puzzeled.. then I read somewhere that the rail bushing is there for tolerence issues, and i took mine out over the christmas holiday (working on putting on 03 shocker frame on the mag) and then i put it back in and the leak stoped.

So is it possible that the missing rail bushing was causing the leaks down the barrel?? I assume it was the problem as when i put it back in the mag was happy again. Just would like to verify this conclusion thx

Not having the rail bushing was your problem. When the bushing isn't there, it allows the valve/bolt assembly to move to the rear, which doesn't allow the bolt to seal properly.
