Ebladed VF Tactical or Genx 4

I have an already ebladed VF Tactical cocker and it rips but I am picking up a Gen-X 4 Choas Series in a trade and was wondering if I should switch the eblade frame to the gen-x and return the Vf Tactical to a Mech. Would the Gen-X perform better than the VF ebladed? Just curious.
