Help/Newbie - Center Feed Hopper Question

Hello all, I bought a used minimag a few weeks back and loved it so much I bought a new RT ULE custom... It arrived today and I love it, but I have (what I'm sure) a newbie question about the Center Feed... (I have the black CD ULE body) I haven't bought a new hopper yet so all i could test it the spot was an old VL200 hopper and the darn thing will just fall right back out if I tip or turn over the gun... I have always used clamps to keep my hopper on tight, but that isn't a possiblity with this solid metal center feed (Besides the fact that it would look hideous)... I read they are angel threaded, but it is smooth on the inside... And it doesn't seem to unscrew... So yes please roll your eyes at my question, but I really do need to know what to do to keep a hopper on...

Thanks for your help, another reason I went and purchased the RT ULE was for teh tremendous customer support at AGD and what i hear is a wonderful base of helpful players here on automags.org... Please help...

    Thanks,
    Slinky

Thanks for the info... So I'm assuming that I can unscrew the one that is there now... I tried earlier, guess I need to put some more elbow grease into it?

The feed is loctited in place. It is easier to remove if you heat it somewhat. You will need to hold the feed neck in place with a wice or something similar, and that will scratch it if you aren't very careful.

A quick fix is just putting som electric tape around the feed tube of the hopper.
