Tech Question need insight on problem

I sent in my tac 1 through my paintball retailer recently... the marker would stop shooting after a couple shots.. the only way i could get it to shoot again was by hitting the valve with my palm. afterwards i could shoot untill i stopped and then i would have to hit it again..

My question is as follows: has anyone had simlar problems with there x-valves if so how did you fix it, who you sent it to, and how long before you got the marker back.

Also was wondering if anyone knew if the techs at AGD replace old half stainless/half aluminum to the all aluminum valves

It sounds like you might have a level 10 issue. Try switching to the next size up carrier or use a shorter main spring.

First, oil your gun. Put some autolube (paraffin based non-guming oil) inside the asa for your gun.

        NEXT

Make sure your field strip screw is not too tight or too loose. somewhere right in the middle is fine.

        THEN

Tune your lvl 10. Go here to learn how to do it yourself...

If that doesnt work and you have a ULT...
mess arround with how many shims (small flat metal rings) are on your ULT.

Another possibility is you are short stroking the ULT. make sure you are pulling the trigger its full length quickly and evenly and allowing it to reset completly before the next shot.

Well hope some of this may help, thats the extent of my knowedge so good luck.

I had the same problem. Bolt stick. Go up a carrier size.
