    X-Valve Velocity Problems

I own a minimag with an X-Valve installed. Several weeks ago it was working just fine, but then I tried chronoing it the other day (using HPA of course) and it was shooting very hot and very inconsistantly... 380, 330, 370, 350.

Adjusting the regulator's velocity had little to no effect unless I turned it all the way down... then it would shoot at around 200, 120, 160, 140 or not shoot at all.

It seemed that the first shot (after several seconds of not firing) was particularly hot while the shots following immediately after it were lower in velocity.

Why won't my regulator respond to velocity adjustments? What needs replacing?

Sounds like a worn regulator seat o-ring. I had the same problem a few weeks ago and a new o-ring took care of the problem.
