Does pin length effect mechanical mags?

would the same problems of pin length with hyperframes be the same with an AIR valve mag?

and what would be the proper length?

if my On Off hole depth is not standard how do i know what is the right length?

Too long a pin and the gun won't fire. Too short and it will go full auto.

A classic valve on a classic rail should have a .750in pin.

if it were any shorter by a 1/64th would it grind the bolt like a hyperframe and too short of a pin?


and if it were too long would the pin mushroom?


also if the pin is too short or too long by how much, is 1/64th or 1/32 nothing to be worried about?
