    "perfect Recharge" valve. technical Q's

So a customer walks into the shop today to have his HPA tank filled and pulls out a 68automag with a few ups, nothing special. One thing that intrigued me was an after market valve half. Just the rear of the valve was replaced. I know very little about 'mags but I do know that most 'mags run at about 800 psi(I think) and this gun was regulated down to a valve input of 400 psi. I guess I'm really just asking for technical specs on this "perfect recharge" valve, it was made for PMI by AGD around '99-2000 If I'm right. Any help would be much appreciated.
