Hello Maggers,I am curious about this, what could be the cause of shoot down with co2 on a mag. the first three shots are ok and after that it falls off and sputters and wont fire, have tried shooting with a remote line, and with the tank mounted vertical.. Any help would be greatly appreciated..

Are you getting excessive sweating or icing of the valve ? if you have a tank with a anti siphon tube in and you are using vertically that could also be a problem as you are probably getting liquid in the valve . Try Liberally oiling up the valve. when I shot CO2 I used to keep my mag sloppy with oil to keep firing. Lastly you could try replacing the valve regulator seat and on/off orings.

Nope so icing or sweating of the valve and no antisiphon. I purchased a rebuild kit and am in the process of rebuilding it now

Have you tried replacing the bolt spring? The bolt spring is a consumable item on a mag. When it gets weak, it causes bolt stick.
Except for the Automag in front, its usually the man behind the equipment that counts.

could just be a bad valve on your CO2 tank,. they are pretty cheap to replace.

Make shure you do not use a tank cover and try a different tank. The ultimate cure is to buy a 35.00 HP compressed air system from ebay....
