Trigger Frames for Pump mag Help!!

    hey guys,

Ive been working on a pump mag project and Ive been wanting to upgrade the trigger frame from the stock carbon fiber, but Ive been having trouble finding one that will still work with the pump setup. I just tried a Benchmark "perfect" single trigger frame (its the one that has the kinda built-in drop on the bottom of the handle).

the sear sticks so far out to get behind the trigger, and when you pull the trigger it doesnt exactly move it back but tilts it up...its really weird

anyways i was wondering if anyone knows if certain frames are/are not compatible or if its just me

    thanks

Try and adjust the trigger rod lenght back a little...

Seperate the valve, body, & rail. Note the lenght of the rod. Remove the sear and heat up the trigger rod with a lighter until slight smoke appears. While still hot twist the rod all the way out and clean off all the old lock tight off with a pick and alcohol. Reinstall the trigger rod inward slightly more than when it was before you disassembled it. Test fire the marker if it works your close . Make shure you trigger activation is @ 3/4 of the total trigger travel. You must have additional travel to insure the on/off closes completly and the sear totaly disengages. If you shearch the forums you can find the correct distance needed for propper activation

Have you tried this frame? If it will fire the gun, leave the sear rod alone! Benchmark trigger frames are like that. I have had two of them, they all trip the sear like that. Nothing to be concerned about unless the gun won't fire.

As far as compatibility with a pump mag, I would think that any mag frame will work (correct me if I'm wrong guys), as long as they can activate the sear, you should be fine.

I have one of the Grip Styx Powerlyte frames that is almost identical to the Benchmark Perfect frames. My trigger rod does the same thing (moves upward when pulling the trigger). And, I also have it on my pump Mag and it shoots/feels great. Here is a clip, sorry that I don't show the frame more but you get the idea.
