New to mags, sear is just not seeming to work

I'm decently new to my mag, but i've played with it fine for the past few weekends, but then the sear just seemed to be sticking, and now the sear pin isn't sticking, but it's not tripping the bolt either

just pressing it back and forth...

soo help please anyone, it is a ULE with the lvl 10 bolt, the ULT kit and x-valve

    thanks- :)

Are you saying that the trigger rod(thing that hits the back of the trigger) is not being forced forward when you gass the gun up?

If you answer yes then either the velocity needs to be turned up or something is messed up in your ON/OFF assy.

i'm saying that the trigger rod is pushing back the the sear, but it must not be releasing the bolt, because it will not fire...its hard to explain

i'm going to check around it some more to try and figure it out

If you are referring to the auto-response trigger, I have heard of problems with it in conjunction with the level 10 bolt. Here's a thread on it.

Ok. I ran into this a short time ago, and it turned out to be bolt stick on the LVL 10. Try going up a carrier size and see if that helps. Also oil the heck out of the ULT. It's wierd how much the LVL 10 affects the ULT!! How many shims do you have in your ULT?

yeah, when adjusting your ULT with shims you will know your limit when the trigger rod will go back and forth but not fire. All you need to do is take out a thin shim out of your ULT and you should be fine!

Do you have any shims in the power tube? If so, take them out and retry.

Read this:http://www.automags.org/resource/level10/index.shtml be shure that you turn up the velocity the new springs are stiffer. It's all about balance between input pressure and spring tension. Search the forums for tunning your ULT. Its seems confusing at first, but after reading it a couple of times it clears up....

Make sure you tune your level 10 without any shims in place. Use the largest carrier that doesn't leak.
Except for the Automag in front, its usually the man behind the equipment that counts.
