Leaking behind the valve is an indication of a leaking on-off assembly. The leak concerns two orings. They are the larger oring around the bottom half of the on-off assembly, and the smaller oring inside the bottom half of the on-off assembly. Replace (preferred), or at least clean these two orings and your leak should go away.
Except for the Automag in front, its usually the man behind the equipment that counts.
