I've used both and I prefer the warp feed. I'll give you a list of my pro's and con's for each and you can decide which factors were more important to you, as I did.

    Q-loader Pros:

Streamlined. It can be mounted under and parallel to the barrel and as such is very streamlined and compact. I think they have come out with a new mounting kit for it since I've last used one. It should you even more mounting options.

Lightning fast feed. I think warpig did a test of all the top end loaders. If memory serves me right, Q-loader and Warp feed were in the one and two spots repectively. The Q will push about 100 bps. The bad thing is that if your hose becomes disconnected...it will push 100 bps right onto the deck.

    No electronics/batteries. 'Nuff said.

    Q-loader Cons:

The biggest con for me was my limited capability to sustain an engagement with the pods. If I was in a quick firefight, I might have shot through 50 rounds. That left me with a decision, do I take a mere 50 with me into the next engagement or do I swap pods out now so that I have a full 100. More often than not I was swapping out pods before they were empty because I didnt want to have to deal with them in the middle of a shoot out.

The reloading. It is much simpler to just dump 200 rounds in my egg than have to reload and wind those pods in between games. If I used all my paint in a match, I would have to sit out games in order to handload all five pods again.

Field cleaning. I suppose that tearing apart a pod isnt much more of a pain than having to do the same to my hopper, but it seems like I was having to do it more often. When I would snap a new pod in, there were many times that I would pop a ball and have a mess right at the feed of the gun. I know its been said that spending time learning your spring tension cures this, but I like to think that I spent enough time learning the pods and I was still having problems with them popping alot of paint. Ive never broken a ball inside my warp.

    Warp Feed Pros:
AGD engineering and reliability. Its a marvelously simple device, and kept clean and lubed it will work well for you. Im not sure what the proclaimed BPS feed of the warp is, Im thinking it was around 13-15 without any mods. Im sure someone here can chime in with the exact numbers. Essentially it does the same job as the Q, but isnt as compact and sleek.

Ability to sustain a shootout. I much prefer the ability to dump 200 rounds into my gun while still shooting (the force feed of the balls in the warp) at any angle in order to sustain a paintfight. If Im reloading at every 200 rounds vice every 50 or 100 rounds, you do the math and figure out how much time im wasting.

    Warp Cons:

Electronics fail. Be it batteries or the sensors or user error. Ive had times where I had to give the warp a lil knock to get it spinning. Its probably my fault in that I didnt have the battery clip on properly or something. My mag is mechanical, and I just like to limit the amount of batteries that I have to replace. Kids today dont seem to mind all the electronics. I guess Im just old school. One of these days I'll look into intellifeeding my warp. (Pull the trigger, spin the warp fyi)

A little bulky and heavy. My ULE mag is light as a feather, 'til I strap on the Warp and Egg and air. I'm going to go remote with my air in the near future which will help.

Hopefully you'll get some other opinions here, or maybe someone will track down other similar threads and direct you to them. I went ahead and bought my Q beore reading alot of user opinions on it. It lasted a couple of months, but eventually I went to the warp and havent looked back.

Any other q's feel free to ask!

If you get rid of that 500 round silo and slap a cheap revy on the reloading sprocket, loading your pods becomes lightning fast. It only takes about a second to swap pods, so reloading in the middle of a fire fight is no real issue. Its pretty light, and it can really tighten up your profile depening on how you mount it. But you do have to make sure you have it securely mounted to your feed neck. If the feed tube pops off, that pod will be empty before you can even think about reacting.

OK here is what i did. when i first got the q-laoder i was annoyed because of hand loading the pods, so i got a halo-b. When i recently went back to my q-laoder here is how i load it. Took the halo and used a few straps and some rope to create a hanging harnes, can zip tie it to netting or hang it from a tree. i use a standard elbow attached to the loader and i run one of the super tubes from AGD down to the winder. Basically i play the thing like an accordian. pull down, wind as i push up. i can reload a pod in about 10 sec.
the second problem is the number of rounds per game, i play senario, so i tend to use a bunch of paint before being killed o running out of air. i use a 4 pod harness and carry a bag of extras on field with me, i stash them at the begining and go back to them as needed. has worked so far but might not work for you.
now for the good, no hopper hits. no side hits (only able to go out one side of a bunker because of the warp). zero profile, How many times have you been hit in the grip? this is what the pod goes infront of on the most common set up. ballance, my gun is ballanced exactly at the grip with a full pod and my freak barrel, no high no low, alot less fatigue. finally, if you use the warp super hose and some of the warp fittings you wil never have a ploblem with breaking ball in the tube because you can stretch it to pull that last ball out of the way.

Which ever you choose both sound good just got to figure which works for you. good luck

Its a nickname for a Viewloader Evlution II hopper. It looks like an egg. Google or ebay search "paintball egg" and you'll find it no problemo. Not particularly the high end of motorized hoppers, but it works fine in conjunction with my warp.

19BPS 22 with the Z board. that's not too shabby considering NO ONE can shoot that fast(in semi-auto that is). Egg's are cheap and worth it.

Has anyone ever done a warp AND a Qloader on the same gun have the Q loading into the warp sweeeet
