    Gas out the back...

    Hi,

What causes the air to leak out of the rear of the gun? Gas is escaping from the velocity adjustment hole.

It is a standard automag valve, new reg seat. Do I need to remove the velocity adjuster screw, and adjust the nut in the reg back that the spring pack rests on?

Also when I shoot. The leak breifly stops, and then slowly comes back to full strength.

    Regulator piston problem?
    Regulator spring pack problem?

    Thanks

      Replace the regulator piston assy.

It is the pressure relief working. Try turning down the velocity, if that doesn't work then do as RedRT says. If you just installed a level 10 in your valve, then this is happening because the level 10 needs more psi then the regulator will allow, but the new piston assemblies allow for the higher pressure.
