    From co2 to compressed air

    Hello all,
Im a total Mag noob. I just bought one off a friend of mine who bought it off some other guy who.....screwed it up. Apparently, the power tube tip assembly came off, and the insides of that spilled out. They guy kept on shooting with it so the bolt slammed against the tip, and the spacer, causing dents. Also, the bolt broke. Im thinking about going to compressed air. However, I had a few questions like: What parts do I need to buy, is it safe, where can I get a fill, and also how to buy the right tank. Any help would be much appreciated. Thanks!

If it has a valve that doesn't say "X-valve, e-mag, or RT" all you need to do is fix the stuff that's broken.

As for a tank, any high pressure output tank will work for you. Most will suggest getting a fiber wrapped, preset tank, at least 68 cubic inches in volume. Steel and aluminum tanks are cheaper, but heavier. If you have easy access to fills, you can get away with a 45ci tank, but you will be greatly limiting your number of in game shots. You can also get tanks that hold 3000 psi or 4500. Obviously a 4500 psi tank holds 1 1/2 times the air, however not all places can fill that high so the extra expense might not be worth it for you.

    Hope that helps

I would suggest getting a "level 10". It comes with everything you need inside the powertube(bolt, springs, tip, carriers.. etc..)

      If possible get some pictures.
