    Centerflag Hyperframe - trigger/switch

    Ok, any tourney hypermaggers out there? I'm new to the hyperframe. I've recently upgraded to an 80 gram switch and new blade trigger. I like the action on the trigger way better, but its pretty touchy - and I am kinda worried about it being tourney legal. Its not mad bounce, but more like if I give it a hard wack in the back of the marker I can get it to fire sometimes. Is that normal? Am I worried about nothing or is there something I can do to the gun?

    Any info would be great. Thanks guys.

      I wouldnt worry about it.. theres A LOT of tournie guns that do that. Make sure your safety is on when not on the field, barrel sock, etc. and i think you should be alright.

          An 80gram switch is pretty heavy... you sure you didnt put a 50 or 25 in?

              Thanks for the replies. Most of the time when I read rules, it says things about the marker isn't supposed to fire when hit, dropped, etc. I have always played with mech markers so this switch stuff is new to me. Never shot a DM or timmy etc. so I just didn't know if this is normal.

              I got the switch from luke - I'm almost certain its an 80g. Thats what is says on the website - I could ask him about it and confirm.

              My frame dosent have a safety I'm planning on giving Dennis a call to find out if they have anything at centerflag. Hopefully they do. Is there anywhere else to get parts to fit a hyperframe safety?

                  Yeh, the 80 gram switch is actually pretty light. Maybe compaired to the weight of the trigger, anyway it is pretty touchy.
                  I dont know what board you have but you can adjust the Debounce settings to get rid of some of that touchiness.

                      Wow, I had a custom 75g switch and I hated it. Way too heavy. 25g seems just right to me and it doesn't usually go off on accident.

                          Well, I wouldn't say this goes off on accident, but I can make it go off by giving it a wack in the marker, etc. I am thinking if I adjust a little "slop' out of the trigger, that might help it. Might try that this weekend if I make it out....
